About TCTCG
TwinCities Tamil Catholics Group was founded in 2007. A small group of like minded Catholic families from Tamil Nadu, India, started meeting once a month to pray the Rosary in Tamil. The intention is to teach the younger generation to cherish and value our heritage and culture.
Since 2010, under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Tom Rayar, St. Paul Diocese, the group started meeting on every 2nd Sunday of the month to celebrate the Holy Mass in Tamil. This is totally a new experience to the young kids growing up here.
We encourage the younger generation to actively participate in the mass and other church related activities.
We also actively involve in community service and charitable events. As a group we volunteer our time to Feed my starving Children, once a month. These activities also help our children to appreciate charity, team work , kindness to our fellow brothers and sisters no matter where they are.
